What should I do if my Whirlpool Hybrid Electric Heat Pump Water Heater displays the “EoF” error code?

CAUTION: Before attempting any corrective actions, ensure the power to the water heater is turned off at the circuit breaker/fuse box to ensure your safety.

INDICATES: Condensate pump failure (If Accessory Condensate Pump is installed).

What To Do:

  1. Check to see if the accessory condensate pump is plugged in and has power. Also, inspect the circuit breaker/fuse box and GFCI (if used). If the error persists, proceed to the next step.
  2. Examine the condensate pump outlet tube for blockages. If the error continues, move on to the next step.
  3. Verify the control wire connections to the condensate pump. If the error still appears, proceed to the next step.
  4. Consider replacing the accessory condensate pump. If the error persists even after this, contact a qualified technician to service the unit.

Handling electrical components and systems can be risky, especially if you’re not familiar with them. If you’re uncomfortable performing these steps or if the issue continues, please contact customer service at 1-877-817-6750 for further assistance.
