What should I do if my Ruud Ultra Plug-in Heat Pump with HydroBoost (120V Shared Circuit) displays Alarm Code A107?

CAUTION: For your safety, DO NOT attempt repair of electrical wiring, controls, heating elements, or other safety devices. Refer repairs to qualified service personnel.

Possible Cause: Water has been detected in the drain pan. What To Do:

  1. Inspect for clear signs of water leaks. If a leak is evident, service the unit for leakage issues.
  2. If no visible leakage is identified, detach the rope sensor from the board. If the code disappears after this action, dry the rope sensor (using a blow dryer is acceptable) or consider replacing it.
  3. If the error persists even after replacing the rope sensor, it’s likely the board needs replacement.
  4. To temporarily override the alarm, press and hold the “Clear Alarm” button for a duration of 5 seconds. This action will suspend the alarm for 24 hours.

This answer is applicable for the following model: Ruud Ultra Plug-in Heat Pump with HydroBoost (120V Shared Circuit).
