How Can We Help?
What should I do if my Ruud Ultra Plug-in Heat Pump with HydroBoost (120V Shared Circuit) displays Alarm Code A107?
CAUTION: For your safety, DO NOT attempt repair of electrical wiring, controls, heating elements, or other safety devices. Refer repairs to qualified service personnel.
Possible Cause: Water has been detected in the drain pan. What To Do:
- Inspect for clear signs of water leaks. If a leak is evident, service the unit for leakage issues.
- If no visible leakage is identified, detach the rope sensor from the board. If the code disappears after this action, dry the rope sensor (using a blow dryer is acceptable) or consider replacing it.
- If the error persists even after replacing the rope sensor, it’s likely the board needs replacement.
- To temporarily override the alarm, press and hold the “Clear Alarm” button for a duration of 5 seconds. This action will suspend the alarm for 24 hours.
