1.5°C

Electrification Matters.

According to Saul Griffith, in his new book Electrify, committed emissions from fossil-fuel burning appliances already in use – furnaces, gas-powered vehicles, lawnmowers, etc – will take us past 1.5°C. That means that EVERY new appliance we replaces in our lives and homes must be electric in order for us to avoid warming projections that scientists agree are unsustainable for the planet.

Cleaning up the grid is also important, and something that we must tackle in tandem.

Zwell is committed to helping homeowners solve for their own home’s piece of the puzzle.
